Degan Walters
RCC, MA Registered Clinical Counsellor
Compassionate care for those who feel stuck, unfulfilled, disconnected, or distressed.
From time to time, we all feel at odds with where we want to be and in need of support to reconnect with our core values, strengths, and authentic selves. That can look like building new habits, working through a big decision or transition, or processing past trauma in order to live life with clarity and meaning. Using a warm, collaborative approach grounded in evidence-based therapy, I guide clients toward clarity and meaningful change.
I work with clients to help manage stress, build confidence, improve relationships, and focus on their mental wellbeing — including support for anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.
Service offerings: in-person psychotherapy at the clinic; walk & talk sessions in the forest; and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for processing stuck trauma, distress, or negative beliefs.
I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) licensed through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, with a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and additional specialized training in trauma-informed care, EMDR, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy. I come to this work after a career in technology, bringing lived experience of work and office stressors. Book a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
