Peter Maharajh

Peter graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007. He is trained in STR (Soft Tissue Release), L.A.S.T. (Ligament Articular Strain Technique), Muscle Energy Technique and has a special interest in understanding pain, Nociception and Nerves. Working with MS and Parkinson’s patients as well as conditions such as hydrocephalus and spinal cord injuries has been some of his most rewarding experiences.

He is equally passionate about treating the elite athlete dealing with an acute injury such as hamstring or calf pain as he is about treating the elderly person managing neck pain or arthritis.

Peter’s treatment style is patient dependent, with an emphasis on communication and Functional Movement Screening. The patient helps establish the style and type of treatment most suited to their goals. On a personal note Peter has a competitive background in rowing and sculling.

Anne-Marie Côté

RMT, Masters Health Ed.

After graduating from the West Coast College of Massage therapy in 1997, Anne-Marie worked her dream job with Canadian Mountain Holidays in one of their Helicopter skiing lodges in the Purcell Mountain range of British Columbia. Once the skiing season was over, she chose to work in North Vancouver where she has been ever since, working with a very diverse clientele ranging from: ultra runners, biking enthusiasts, martial artists, triathletes, and those suffering from chronic pain, stroke, or Guillain Barré Syndrome.

She started teaching at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2005, and completed her Masters in Education in 2018, with a focus on the trust in therapeutic relationships between the RMT and patient. She has been teaching many courses, with her main domain always being the orthopedics component of the program, involving: spinal, regional and neurological treatments. As of September 2014, Anne-Marie started teaching in the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College, continuing to pass on her knowledge of orthopedic treatment to a new crop of Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) students. Her years as an orthopedic teacher for the RMT program has made her extremely competent in treating joint injuries: post joint surgery recovery, sprains and strains, dislocations, neurological cases and so many more.

Always keeping in mind that relaxation and therapeutics can be used in conjunction, a treatment with Anne-Marie is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.

Harold Keech

RMT, Instructor at Langara College

Harold is a graduate of the 3265 hour Registered Massage Therapist program at Langara College where he graduated with excellence. He is a former student athlete from Kwantlen college with a passion for sports, which fueled his aspirations to provide education to young athletes with a focus on injury prevention.

While his general practice covers treatment for many aspects of wellness, orthopedics, posture & ergonomics, injury and prevention, Harold holds a special interest in sport-related conditions and active rehabilitation. Harold enjoys teaching with the Langara College Registered Massage Therapy program, working with students in orthopedics and musculoskeletal anatomy to help build students key skills as they pertain to clinical practice as an RMT. Promoting patient education, in efforts to help them understand possible contributing factors to their symptoms and help patients manage their symptoms beyond treatment, are one of his approaches that his patients appreciate most.

Harold can often be seen playing basketball, bouldering, or out on the trails as he looks forward to running his second Tough Mudder.
